Here’s who presented at the Golden Globes 2017
We weren't disappointed.
We weren't disappointed.
The 74th Golden Globes kicked off this year's annual award season last night.
The Golden Globes 2017 was held in Los Angeles and hosted this year by US chat show presenter, Jimmy Fallon. This was Jimmy’s first time at the helm of the prestigious awards, but he didn't disappoint. Not that we would expect anything less after his excellent job hosting the 2010 Primetime Emmys.
There's no denying it’s been an amazing year for TV and Film. From Stranger Things, The People v O.J Simpson, The Night Manager, La La Land, Nocturnal Animals and more, it's fair to say there's strong competition this awards season.
Unsurprisingly La La Land walked away with 6 Golden gongs, Emma Stone walked away with the award for Best Actress for Musical/Comedy and Ryan Gosling won Best Actor. To see who else cleaned up at the awards check out our round-up of the Golden Globes 2017 winners.
Meryl Streep also walked away with this year’s Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award for her ‘outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment’.
Three-time Golden Globe winner Leonardo DiCaprio and 2012 nominee Kristen Wiig were the first to be announced as presenters of this years awards, but Leo and Kristen were just two of the many A-list names that graced the stage.
