So 2017 is officially the year of the twins.
First Beyonce gave us the absolute dream of a photoshoot with her burgeoning baby bump, telling us all that she was expecting not one but two bundles of joy with husband, Jay Z. It was so good that the picture even became the most liked Instagram pic ever with 10.5 million likes.
And it didn’t take long for George and Amal Clooney to reveal that they were also expecting double the dirty nappies.
The couple, who married in a lavish ceremony in Venice in 2014, announced the news via US show The Talk, with presenter Julie Chen declaring: ‘Beyonce is not the only superstar expecting twins. Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!’
And George has remained tight-lipped about it – until now.

The Hollywood actor told French show Recontres de Cinema: ‘We are really happy and really excited.
‘It’s going to be an adventure. We’ve sort of embraced it all … with arms wide open.’
George also admitted he wasn’t phased about being a parent later in life. After discussing French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo becoming a father at 70-years-old, he said: ‘I’m feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [they arrive].’
He’s not the only one who’s looking forward to their arrival. George’s mum is so excited that she accidentally announced the sex of his twins, even though George and Amal have been keeping shtum about it.
‘It’ll be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told,’ she admitted proudly.
Oh, mums. What are they like?
