Hollywood's most eligible bachelor George Clooney reportedly has his eye on Eva Longoria, with new reports emerging that Clooney is 'smitten' with the star and has been secretly dating her.
George Clooney, who recently split from his longtime girlfriend Stacy Keibler, has reportedly fallen for Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, according to The Sun.
The two stars became friends while working on Barack Obama's reelection campaign together and The Sun reports that they have been on 'a string of secret dates,' with a source confiding to the paper that George is 'smitten' with the sultry brunette.
'Chemistry is palpable whenever they’re in the same room and mutual friends have been backing the union, saying what a great couple they’d make,' the source said.
'They’re both really smart and have very passionate political beliefs in common. It’s rare to find someone of a similar fame level and of equal intelligence. It’s the full package.'
Longoria is currently dating Ernesto Arguello, a former contestant on US reality show Ready For Love, which Eva produced last year, and was recently spotted with her beau looking loved up in Paris.
'Eva is enjoying her summer fling in the States, but she’s flattered by George’s attentions,' the insider continued.
The paper also reports that George has invited the star to visit his home in Lake Como next month.
