The model denies comparing Jen to aging rockstar Iggy Pop on the social networking site, claiming it was all a misunderstanding.
Elisabetta's alleged Tweet read: 'I'm browsing again through the pages of Rolling Stone. Iggy Pop on the cover looks exactly like Jennifer Aniston.'
Oh dear.
But just hours later Elisabetta scrambled to clear the matter up after hearing about the mishap.
‘I JUST READ ON GOOGLE That I TWEETED something bad about J Aniston, let me be clear, it's a complete LIE, I would never do that!!'' she tweeted.
Confused? We were. But it seems that Elisabetta had accidentally Retweeted another Tweeter's post, resulting in the colossal mix up
