Troubled television host Gail Porter has reportedly checked into rehab following an apparent suicide bid last week – which saw her sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
According to the Sun, Gail checked into a private treatment facility yesterday, accompanied by 25-year-old musician boyfriend Jonny Davies, after battling with depression.
The Scottish star was reportedly hospitalised after being found at home in ‘state of distress’ with cuts to her arms and chest on Wednesday night.
According to reports, worried pals phoned police, who went to visit the star at her home, leading to Gail being detained.
‘Police were called to an address in Belsize Park on Wednesday following concerns for the welfare of a resident,’ a statement read.
It is believed the former model was released from hospital to recover at home, but later decided to enter a rehab clinic over the weekend.

In the past Gail has spoken openly about self harming and a 2005 suicide bid, which she described as 'a real cry for help,' in which she tried to overdose on pills following a the break down of her marriage to musician Dan Hippgrave.
Today friends have praised the TV presenters ‘courageous’ decision to seek help, revealing it is what she has 'desperately' needed.
‘Finally Gail has done what she's desperately needed to do for months,’ one insider told the Sun.
‘She was completely off the rails. No one wants to admit they need rehab - it takes a courageous spirit.’
