The three stars bravely bared all for the racy new cover, appearing naked in the steamy snaps.
And show creator Alan Bell was in on the interview, opening up on the popularity of the hot US hit and what makes vampires sexy.
'If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before,' he said.
'There's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive.'

'Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?' he jokes.
And in a dig at vampire rival, Twilight, Alan confirms True Blood is strictly adult entertainment.
'The idea of celibate vampires is ridiculous,’ he said. ‘To me, vampires are sex. I don't get a vampire story about abstinence.'
