Robbie Williams and Ayda Field have opened up on their super-secret wedding day, revealing all on the dress, the cake, and Robbie’s romantic proposal.
The couple - who posed for an exclusive shoot with Hello! magazine - looked the picture of happiness as they stood beneath a marquee bedecked with flowers.
Ayda chose a stunning white Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, complete with netted silk taffeta skirt and intricate beaded corset to walk down the aisle, and was positively glowing in the recently released snaps.
And Robbie just couldn’t help gushing about his 'radiant' bride.
'Ayda looked the most beautiful girl in the world,’ he said. 'The setting was so magical and to be surrounded by family and close friends and then see Ayda appear looking so radiant was almost too much for me to take. I'm the happiest man alive.'
But it seems the ceremony was about the only thing the wedding shared with a traditional day.
'The only thing that’s traditional about the wedding is the vows. No hen party, no bachelor party, no wedding showers,' Robbie revealed.
'Our doggies are taking the bridesmaid roles! I was originally thinking little bow ties for them, but instead they’re going to each have flower collars,' Ayda added.
The 60 guests enjoyed a three-course meal, which included sushi and steak, as well as a traditional English breakfast at 1am, and Robbie serenaded his new wife with a rendition of Angels,
The happy couple also splashed out on a three-tier red velvet creation to treat guests. ‘The cake’s got three layers. The first is red velvet, Rob’s favourite, the second is carrot cake, and the third is vanilla and coconut,’ said Ayda.
‘I’m going to have a cake headache,’ Robbie added. People will be wobbling home. We want them to leave us as Weebles.’
The pair are now said to be enjoying a two-week honeymoon, before jetting back to the UK for Take That promotional duties.
