Filming has kicked off on Baz Luhrmann's much-anticipated adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, and the stars are already hard at work on the Sydney set.
Tobey Maguire, who takes on the role of Nick Carraway, was spotted filming scenes in a white vest, before joining Leonardo DiCaprio - playing Jay Gatsby - for a run-through in a vintage convertible car.
Isla Fisher was later seen emerging in full hair and make-up for her first day on location. The Aussie actress is tackling the part of Myrtle Wilson.
Not yet spotted on set, Carey Mulligan will be playing Daisy Buchanan, which reportedly became one of the most coveted female roles in Hollywood, with the Brit actress beating Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson and Leo's now-girlfriend, Blake Lively, to the role.
The big budget production is already one of 2012's most anticipated releases, and marks a reunion for Luhrmann and Dicaprio, who worked together on 1996's Romeo and Juliet.
We'll definitely be first in the cinema line....
