Lena Dunham's hit show looks set to be even stronger in 2013
There has been a Lena Dunham-shaped whole in our lives since Girls finished a few weeks ago, but the great news is we won't have to wait long for the next series.
A full trailer for season two has been released and gives a sneak peek into what Hannah, Marnie (Allison Williams), Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) have in store.
Hannah, played by Lena Dunham, seems to have ditched boyfriend Adam Sackler much to his slightly creepy protestations.
Shoshanna and Ray grow closer - remember she lost her virginity to him at the end of season one?
Marni seems down in the dumps and struggles to cope with single life, Charlie's new girlfriend and not having a job, while Jessa meets her in-laws after marrying Thomas-John (played by Chris O'Dowd) in the final episode of season one.

Meanwhile, the show's executive producer Judd Apatow, has been talking about what we can expect from the next series.
He said: 'I'm so proud of Lena… it's brutally honest, there's pride in being different, and I knew people would really debate it and it would challenge people. It's been thrilling to see how much it became a part of the culture.'
'And the second season is amazing. I really think the second season just ups the ante on the whole thing. It’s going to be a wild ride, seeing how people react to it.'
Season one of Girls has been nominated for two Golden Globe awards: best TV series - comedy or musical, and best performance by an actress in a TV series - comedy or musical for Dunham.
Girls season two will start in the US on HBO in January.
