Leona Lewis has shed the pounds to go down two dress sizes, and we found out just how she did it...
The X Factor starlet is the poster girl for the curvy woman, having never succumbed to the stick-thin stereotype.
But the 24-year-old decided to put herself on a strict detox diet last year, having spent a long period in the recording studio - with the result being that she dropped two dress sizes.
‘I went on a detox at the end of summer last year and basically ate vegetables and nothing processed,' she explains. 'And after being in the studio a while, I started doing shows and getting more active.'
‘I didn't drink anything but water for a month!' she continues. 'I usually drink lots of water anyway, so it wasn't a crazy, dramatic change to my lifestyle, but I just really wanted to try it and see how I felt.'
And, ever-sensible, Leona didn't put her body through the rigorous regime for long.

‘I only did the detox for a little while,' she says. ‘But it must have kick-started something in me because everyone keeps saying: "Wow, you've lost weight!" and I'm like: "Cool!"'
The down-to-earth starlet is quick to add that at no point did she ever feel pressure from the industry to lose weight - the decision was all her own.
'No one's ever said, "You need to work out more," she tells Closer magazine. ‘I put pressure on myself to stay healthy and I do want to look good, but I like to eat and I don't like to starve myself!'
And that is precisely why we love her.
