Fifty Shades of Grey movie producers are yet to announce their cast, but there’s still no end to the rumours circulating around which Hollywood heartthrob will take on the part of Christian Grey. The latest reports suggest Taylor Lautner may well be close to bagging the role.

Rumours of Taylor Lautner starring in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie gained momentum after the actor was seen with the book’s author, E.L James at a pre-Osacrs party. The pair were snapped in deep conversation and it’s believed they were discussing the film role.

It’s thought E.L James isn’t keen on casting Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson because their names are synonymous with the Twilight franchise. Taylor, however is thought to be a more suitable choice.

However, some sources suggest the writer is keen to keep the Fifty Shades of Grey movie as close to her original text as possible, which would deem Taylor too young to take on the part of Christian Grey.
