EXCLUSIVE! As a fan of the literary franchise Tulisa told Marie Claire who she wants to star in the movie adaptation
Who should play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? It's the question most discussed in pubs, offices and on social media. So when we met up with Tulisa Contostavlos, who is a huge fan of the novels, we had to find out who she thinks should take the lead roles on screen.
She told Marie Claire: ‘Kristen Stewart would be good for the female role, she has that awkwardness about her that they book portrays.
‘I think she’d do it quite well. And as for who would play Christian, it has to be Tom Hardy.’
While at the launch of her own book, Honest, Tulisa also gave her opinion on why the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon is so strong.
Tulisa said: ‘Fifty Shades is every woman’s secret fantasy but they’re embarrassed to talk about it. Every female secretly wants to be dominated but they don’t say it. I just like that someone has said it and women are being open about it now.’

Openness is not something the X Factor judge is afraid of, though, and she believes she’s always been that way when it comes to what she wants in the bedroom.
‘Fifty Shades of Grey isn’t that shocking for me because I’ve always said [what I want in bed],’ she told us. ‘I like to be dominated and said to boyfriends, “Hey this is what I like.”’

And while Tulisa focuses on launching her book, as well as mentoring her acts on the X Factor, she’s also on a mission to stop her friends getting red faced when talking about sex.
She added: ‘With some friends they seem embarrassed about it, I’m like: "Come on girls, don’t be."'
