Fearne Cotton says she's no longer the fashion frontrunner in her household, after admitting that her 7-month-old son Rex, has a wardrobe to rival her own impressive style set.
Fashion icon Fearne, who unveiled her SS14 Very range at London Fashion Week last week, told us exclusively about her son's growing shoe collection - which includes Nike Air Jordans and Dr Martins - and her growing obsession with buying boys' outfits.
She said: ‘I’ve got a strong passion for baby clothes now. Rex’s wardrobe is so much better than mine – it’s unreal.’
As with every fashion obsession, Fearne hinted that she may have got a little carried away, claiming that shopping for boys' buys was ‘amazing,’ even though Rex was yet to wear any of the trendy purchases.
Though she may have picked up some new shopping habits on her baby journey, the yummy mummy says she hasn’t changed her own distinctive sense of style.
‘I still like wearing what I like wearing,’ she told us. ‘I aim to be that mother at the school gates wearing a PVC skirt and a turban with Rex saying, “Please can you go home and never come back to school.”’

But Fearne – who insists on wearing stilettos for radio – says she won’t be influenced by the other mothers’ dress sense at school, choosing to stick to her unique quirky outfit choices as a new mum.
‘I’ll just be who I want to be – I won’t conform to all the other mums,’ she told us.
And we wouldn’t want her any other way.
