Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have two beautiful daughters, three-year-old Esmerelda, and 16-month-old Amada. The couple are known to be seriously down to earth celebrity parents, taking regular trips out of town to spend time together as a family, with not a single showbiz nanny in sight.
Both Eva and Ryan are full-time actors as well as full-time parents, which Eva has revealed can often infringe on their work-life balance. Talking to E! News, the 43-year-old Hitch actress revealed that she often feels guilt for being a working mum.
‘Oh my God, nobody warns you about the guilt that you feel when you do work,’ she told E! News. ‘I don’t know how I find balance, because I think it is like a day to day kind of struggle, you know?’
While she reiterated how important it is for parents to take time for themselves, she continued: 'I’m all for obviously taking care of myself… but that guilt… It’s like, "Ugh, this is gonna be there forever now."'
Eva and Ryan met while filming The Place Beyond The Pines in 2011, and since having children together they have spoken about how they share parental duties. While Ryan revealed that Eva inspired him to say this line in La La Land, he also thanked his wife when he won a Golden Globe for his performance in the modern musical.

'You don’t get to be up here without standing on the shoulders of a mountain of people,' Ryan said while accepting his award for Best Actor.
'There’s just no time to thank everyone. I just would like to try and thank one person properly and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer.
'If she hadn’t have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So, sweetheart, thank you.'
