Emma Watson's spokesman has confirmed that the actress will return to Ivy League University Brown this January to complete her English degree after taking some time off from her studies to focus on her acting career.
EMMA WATSON'S STYLE HIGHS & LOWS
The actress, who has been hotly tipped as one of the top contenders for the coveted role of Anastasia Steele in the film version of hit erotica book Fifty Shades of Grey, is ready to swap the red carpet for the library as she returns to the Ivy League and heads back to Providence, Rhode Island, to continue her unfinished English degree at Brown University, which she started in 2010.
According to Watson's spokesman: 'Emma is planning on returning to studies in January.'
The 22-year-old dropped out of Brown to finish filming the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and later transferred to Oxford University in 2011, before leaving to star in her latest film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Before hitting the books, the star will squeeze in at least one more film - she is currently on location in New York shooting her upcoming movie, Noah, which also features Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Hopkins. Does this mean Emma's officially out of the running for the role of Ana Steele? Or would the right part tempt her back to acting yet again?
