Emma Watson starts on work on new film The Bling Ring

The actress is in Los Angeles for her latest movie role

Emma Watson has arrived in Los Angeles and is about to start filming her 'dream' movie The Bling Ring.

The Harry Potter star has been spotted out and about in LA going for a bite to eat at Lemonade in Beverly Hills.

The 21-year-old is thrilled to have been cast in the Sofia Coppola directed movie and recently revealed that she's taking some time out from her university studies so she can fully concentrate on the role.

She wrote on her official website: 'I'm just packing to go out to Los Angeles for "Bling Ring."

'I'm taking my 3rd term out of Worcester College to make sure I don't compromise my studies or my part in the film. I am so excited to have the opportunity to learn from Sofia and make what I think is a very important film. This is a bit of dream for me really.'

We don't yet know which character Watson is playing but the film is inspired by a true story about a group of teenagers who committed a string of celebrity burglaries. They were caught burgling the houses of famous stars including Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan.
