Emma Watson: It feels 'like someone is dying' at end of Harry Potter

The Burberry star has revealed her sadness at the end of the films that rocketed her to success

Burberry star Emma Watson has revealed her sadness at filming the last of the Harry Potter films which shot her to fame.

‘I feel like someone's dying I really do,' she told reporters at the National Movie Awards.

‘I'm actually not really planning much this summer. I'll just need time to collect myself and get myself back together a bit.'

The stylish star - who stepped out in Karl Lagerfeld at the glittering industry event - also spoke of her shock at how well the Harry Potter films have done.

'I don't think any of us could have predicted the kind of love and recognition. It's just incredible,' she said.

‘I am so unbelievably proud to have been a apart of it.'

Daniel Radcliffe also revealed he'll be ‘devastated' when the final curtain falls, explaining that the character has become part of his life, and joking that he might end up in panto.

‘It's going to be bizarre. I'm going to be devastated to some degree. It will be very sad,' he said.

It's just been such a part of my life. There will never be one scene in the Harry Potter films that I watch without it triggering a whole series of memories. Every scene is linked to my life.

'I hope I can find some kind of employment otherwise, panto I suppose!'
