Some call them the new Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Regardless, the pairing of Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling is probably at least 90% responsible for the success of La La Land.
Variety Magazine met up with Stone backstage at this year’s Oscars Lunch to ask her about working with Gosling again, and whether we can expect a new collaboration anytime soon.
Of course, a good 90% of the questions Stone gets these days are probably about Gosling, and she jokes that she’s so done, quipping: 'I’m sick to death of it!'
But Emma Stone will never really grow tired of Ryan Gosling. How could she?
She gushes about working with him, saying he’s 'always so much fun, so easy to work with.'

When asked if she remembers when she first met her on-screen chemistry match, Stone doesn’t hesitate.
'We met in the audition for Crazy Stupid Love, which was the day after the Oscars, 2010.'
Crazy. Auditioning during award season. That’s madness.
The interviewer then asks if they’ve got another three films in the works, but her response is pretty non-committal.
'People are probably chomping at the bit to see that happen again,' she jokes. But, Emma, we are.
When questioned about what it’s like to work with director Damien Chazelle, Stone anxiously begs the viewers to please save her. Apparently he’s a monster.
She kids! She kids. He’s great. 'Love him so much. He’s the best guy in the world,' she says.
Okay, but he can’t be as great as Gosling, come on.
