Emma Roberts 'Arrested After Fight With Boyfriend'

According to witness reports in the US, the young actress was arrested in Canada after an altercation with her boyfriend Evan Peters

Emma Roberts has made global news headlines this morning for an alleged fight with her boyfriend Evan Peters, which resulted in her arrest.

According to reports in the US, the 22-year-old star was arrested in Cananda for a domestic violence incident which allegedly left Evan with physical injuries. Emma Roberts' rep has yet to release a statement, but TMZ claims to have spoken to Montreal law enforcement services, who revealed that an eyewitness called the police to report a fight in Emma and Evan's hotel room on 7 July.

Julia Roberts' niece was taken into custody, while reports state that Evan – Who stars in American Horror Story – was left with a 'bloody nose' and a 'bite mark'.

The reports claim that Emma was later released when Evan said that he didn't want to press charges.

The pair have been dating since spring 2012 and have been spotted out and about on a number of romantic dates across the US, their most recent being a red-carpet appearance at the LA premiere of The Lone Ranger on 22 June.
