Is Ed Sheeran planning to quit music once he's finished touring?
Say it ain't so!
Say it ain't so!

Remember how Ed Sheeran took a year out of music, and then all of a sudden 2016 turned into bit of a mess? Brexit caused chaos, Donald Trump happened, and we lost far too many of our favourite celebrities.
Coincidence? Maybe.
But the superstitious among you - and anyone who just loves a bit of Ed and his guitar - will be gutted to hear that he's reportedly planning another extended leave as soon as he's finished touring his latest album, ÷. However, this time it's not just a year off to do a bit of travelling, or fulfil his dream of getting a part in the next season of Game of Thrones. It'll be more of a permanent disappearing act of about ten years, apparently.
A source told The Daily Star: "Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music. He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life.
"When or if he gets married he wants to put his wife and kids first and not his career. If that means going AWOL for years then so be it."

Ed has previously talked about his desire to start a family where he grew up in Suffolk, but considering the phenomenal success of his third album no one was expecting it to be as soon as this. The album famously took sixteen out of twenty slots in the UK charts immediately after its release. SIXTEEN.
Could we be seeing a future without our favourite redhead?
His people were quick to quash the rumours, saying they were "not true". Fingers crossed they're not telling porkies.
