Duchess Kate is set for her first Royal overseas trip without Prince William
Hello Holland!

Hello Holland!
This weekend will see Princess Charlotte and Prince George make their first joint royal trip overseas as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge embark on their tour of Canada.
Whilst this marks a Royal milestone for the family, it has also just been announced that Kate Middleton will make her first solo overseas visit this October, as she visits Holland as part of a one-day trip next month, without Prince William.
Kate had been scheduled to visit Malta back in 2014 on what would have been her first solo Royal tour, however she was forced to cancel the royal trip after suffering acute morning sickness while pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
The news, which was announced on Kensington Royal’s official Instagram, took us through Kate’s tour itinerary, which will see her host a roundtable discussion focusing on pertinent issues such as mental health and addiction and will also see her making a courtesy call on King Willem-Alexander.
The full statement reads: ‘Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Netherlands on 11th October for a day of official engagements in The Hague and Rotterdam. On arrival, The Duchess of Cambridge is pleased to have the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands at Villa Eikenhorst. The Duchess will then visit the Mauritshuis in The Hague for the exhibition 'At Home in Holland: Vermeer and his Contemporaries from the @royal_collection_trust’.HRH will host a roundtable discussion at the renowned Trimbos Institute on addiction, intervention, family and mental health with two UK charities of which The Duchess is Patron, Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families and Action on Addiction. Her Royal Highness will then travel to the neighbouring city of Rotterdam to see Bouwkeet, the social Makerspace of Bospolder-Tussendijken. This is a new community focussed initiative in the centre of an economically deprived district which provides a creative design and technology workspace. The Duchess of Cambridge is very much looking forward to her visit to the Netherlands.’
