Freema is the latest actress signed to the highly-anticipated TV show, The Carrie Diaries
Former Doctor Who actress Freema Agyeman has landed a coveted role in the Sex And The City prequel TV series, The Carrie Diaries.
Just last week it was revealed that AnnaSophia Robb had been cast as Carrie Bradshaw in a SATC prequel, and now it looks like British actress Freema Agyeman will also star in the highly-anticipated show.
CARRIE BRADSHAW STYLE HIGHS & LOWS
The new TV series will follow a young Carrie Bradshaw as she finds her feet in Manhattan, helped along the way by Freema's party girl character Larissa - 'a hip, cutting-edge editor/party girl who works at Interview magazine.'
A show insider revealed: 'This is the biggest role of Freema's career. She's done fabulously well to get it due to some very strong competition.'
The 32-year-old actress, who played The Doctor's companion Martha Jones from 2006- 2008, is currently starring in Law and Order.
