Benedict Cumberbatch got fans in a frenzy when he was spotted filming his latest film, Doctor Strange, in NYC.
Donning a dramatic red cape, navy blue robes and very appealing greying hair, Benedict was joined by former 12 Years A Slave co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor as the twosome chased what seemed to be the film's villain in the busy New York streets.
The latest film in the ever-growing Marvel cinematic universe, Doctor Strange tells the story of Stephen Strange, a world-renowned surgeon who suffers a devastating injury that ends his medical career. After travelling the world and learning from 'The Ancient One', Stephen restyles himself as Doctor Strange and becomes a master of magic and interdimensions, and of course, fighting crime.
As you know, our love for Benedict Cumberbatch knows no bounds, and seeing him dressed up like a superhero hasn't hurt matters in the slightest. In fact, Benedict was even more swoon-worthy when he was spotted showing wife Sophie Hunter around the film's set.
Tilda Swinton will play Stephen's mentor, The Ancient One, while Chiwetol Ejiofar has been cast as Karl Mordo, a former student of Tilda's and seemingly a friend of Stephen's.
The film is currently slated for release in November 2016.
