To celebrate 30 years, Diet Coke held a glitzy party at Sketch in London last night
Diet Coke threw a star-studded party in London last night to celebrate the drink's 30th birthday.
A fashion fabulous crowd, including Pixie and Peaches Geldof, Patricia Field, Hilary Alexander, Pearl Lowe, Sophie Ellie-Bextor, Ben Grimes, Jamelia, Jade Parfitt and, of course, Marie Claire, hit Sketch to toast the brand's birthday.
The highlight of the night (for us) was when the new Diet Coke hunk was unveiled, in the flesh. We spent probably longer than was appropriate gawping at the gorgeous Andrew Cooper as he worked the room.
The evening's host, Hilary Alexander, opened a specially curated exhibition which took the VIP guests on a journey back over some of Diet Coke's most iconic moments from the last three decades, including Elle Macpherson's 'Just for the Elle of it' campaign in 1987 and Heidi Klum’s Roland Mouret Oscar dress from the Diet Coke Heart Truth campaign (2009).
Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field was there and showcased her limited edition range of ‘Diet Coke City Collection’ bottles, which follow in the line of previous fashion collaboration campaigns with names like Moschino, Karl Largerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and Diane Von Furstenberg,
