Hit US TV show Desperate Housewives is set to be turned into a Broadway musical, according to one of the show's stars, Kyle McLachlin.
Kyle, who play's Bree's husband Orson Hodges, says DH creator Marc Cherry is hoping to produce a Broadway spin-off of the series, which features Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan in the starring roles.
Speaking to Heart radio station, Kyle said: 'I think it is a great idea. It makes sense.
'Mark has said that when he finishes his seven years at ABC he plans to go to Broadway and move into the musical world so maybe he does have some designs in that way.'
He added: 'That’s all he’s said so far.'
