Having kept a low profile since filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore has made her return to the public eye. It's been almost two months since Demi announced that she and her husband of six years were ending their marriage and the actress has finally decided she's ready to enter the celebrity spotlight once again.
The 49-year-old attended the Cinema For Peace event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills this weekend.
Her first red carpet appearance since the split was made less daunting by the support of her eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, who accompanied Demi to the event.
Demi and Ashton's marriage ended after claims that he had an affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal. At the time Demi released a statement, saying: ''It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.
'As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.'

SInce the split, the star has faced criticism about her shrinking figure, which she addressed in a recent interview for US Harper's Bazaar, where she admitted she had a love-hate relationship with her body.
She said: 'When I'm at the greatest odds with my body, it's usually because I feel my body's betraying me, whether that's been in the past, struggling with my weight... or that I couldn't get my body to do what I wanted it to do.
'I think I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body, and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin - thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, 'You're too thin, and you don't look good.'"
