After almost a year and a half of separation, Demi Moore has finally formally filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher. The actress lodged legal papers at a Los Angeles court citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the cause of the breakdown of the relationship.
If reports surfacing are to be believed, Demi has also made the surprising move to seek alimony or spousal support from the Two and a Half Men star to provide for her financially once the divorce is settled, despite the couple not having any children together.

It's understood that actress' filing comes as a response to the 35-year-old's legal proceedings in December to end the marriage. Representatives for both stars have yet to comment on the divorce papers.
The couple's relationship, which began in 2003, broke down when Ashton was alleged to have had an affair with a woman called Sara Leal in 2011. He is now enjoying a romance with current Marie Claire cover girl Mila Kunis.
