Demi Moore has announced 'with great sadness' the end of her six-year marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher.
The news comes just six weeks after the couple were rocked by allegations Ashton had an affair blonde beauty Sara Leal on the night of their sixth anniversary.

In a statement released yesterday, the 49-year old actress confirmed she is to file for divorce from the Two and a Half Men star, and asked for ‘compassion and privacy,’ while she deals with the split.
‘It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,’ Moore’s official statement read.
‘As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.
‘This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.’
Shortly afterwards, Kutcher, who has recently handed control of his Twitter account over to management, Tweeted: ‘I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."
Last month the couple were spotted attending a Kabblah camp at Cachuma Lake in Santa Barbara, where it’s rumoured the troubled twosome were engaged in last-ditch talks to save their marriage.
But it seems it wasn't to be.
