What extravagant present has David bought Victoria?

It seems David Beckham is full of vine ideas when it comes to presents for his wife – he’s just splashed out on a Californian vineyard where Victoria will be able to produce her own wine.

Becks reportedly paid a seven-figure sum for the birthday gift, which will enable them to indulge their joint passion for wine, which the pair developed while living in Spain.

Victoria and David have hired a team to help them run the vineyard and produce their own wine (Posh’s Plonk?), which they’ll bottle and keep for themselves and friends.

David unveiled the gift last month while the pair were enjoying a wine-tasting weekend with celebrity pals Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Heidi Klum, Seal, Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman.

Romantic Becks reportedly arranged a birthday drink - from a bottle with Victoria’s name on the label.

A source said: ‘The Beckhams became wine buffs when he played in Spain. The vineyard went down a storm with Victoria. She was delighted.’
