David Beckham reveals new pictures of Harper Seven tattoo

The footballer treated fans to a close up of his new inking

Proud dad David Beckham debuted his new Harper Seven tribute tattoo at a football match earlier this week - and now the footballer has treated fans to a close up of his new inking.

Mr B posted pictures of the skin sketching on Facebook yesterday, zooming in on the elaborate tattoo, a memento of his fourth child - and first baby daughter.

'My latest tattoo...' he wrote, alongside the snap - which has already accrued an amazing 61,000 Facebook 'likes' - posted on his wall.

David showed off his latest work of art for the very first time during a football match with team LA Galaxy.

Whipping off his shirt at the end of the game, the footballer showed off the new addition to his tattoo collection – an inscription bearing the word Harper on the left hand side of his chest.

Mr B’s new inking sits above a classical tattoo depicting himself and his three sons, which he had done earlier this year.

‘It’s Jesus being carried by three cherubs, and obviously the three cherubs are boys,’ David revealed back in March.

‘At some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that’s what they’re doing in the picture

With already more than 18 other sprawling tattoos, we're surprised David could find any room for his latest work of skin art, carried out by his favourite LA tattoo artist.

Among others, Becks already has a crucifix on the back of his neck and a couple of guardian angels on his shoulders, as well Jesus sitting on the cross, and ten roses linked around his arm - a tribute to Victoria on their 10th wedding anniversary.
