Sorry star David Arquette has admitted he is on he verge of a nervous breakdown, and has been drinking heavily since his split with wife Courteney Cox earlier this year.

In a new interview, David reveals he has been struggling to cope with the separation – announced in October - from his wife of 11 years, and has been seeing psychiatrist ever since.
Branding the split 'hard to deal with,' and 'traumatic', he added he has turned to drink to help him cope with the heartbreak, causing friends and family to become worried.
'Everybody is worried and concerned about me,' he said in a radio interview with US DJ Howard Stern. 'I've been drinking a lot because I'm heartbroken. It's really a personal, traumatic thing.'
Revealing an awkward incident at a recent party hosted by celeb pal Adam Sandler, he said: 'I was a little wasted. Someone says "Hi David!", and I said, "Hi Sean!" Then I realised it was Tom Cruise. And his beautiful wife [Katie Holmes] was there,' he recalled.

'Tom was cool about it... I was so embarrassed. I was like, "I gotta get the f**k out of here".'
Now David says he’s would like another woman in his life, and needs someone to look after him.
'Courteney said she doesn't want to be my mother,' he added. 'I kind of need a mother right now. I need a girl to come bring me some soup and make sure I'm all right. I like that, and I take care of my ladies, too.'
