Uh-oh. Dannii Minogue has spilled the beans on her swift exit from the X Factor, revealing she thinks she and fellow judge Cheryl Cole were ‘eaten up and spat out’ by the talent show.

Speaking to Heart FM ahead of the launch of her latest style book, Ms Minogue said she sympathises with Cherylover her treatment and sacking from the American version of the show.
‘It's been a big year that she's been through with the American X Factor. She's been incredible to work with,’ Dannii said of the singer.
‘She was always there as a support for me when I had tough days because it is a tough show. It does eat all of us up and spit us out at the end.’
Speaking of her own shock exit, she said: ‘The dates of the filming got put back twice and I’d already started Australia’s Got Talent by the time they said, “OK, here it is – let’s do the show."

‘It would’ve meant me flying back and forth from Australia once a week for ten weeks with a one-year-old child.’
She added: ‘I’d just got out of hospital three days before having my appendix out and I was like, “I’m sorry but it’s not possible.”’
Dannii also dropped the biggest hint yet that we could see her on the BBC’s Britain’s Got Talent judging show, which is currently searching out replacements for David Hasslehoff and Michael McIntyre on the judging panel.
‘I don't have any TV booked in for the next year. I haven't even made any decisions about it but there's always stuff in the pipeline,’ she said.
‘We'll see what happens but I do love the show. It's so funny, you've always got a dog trying to sing in tune and I'm trying to imagine the Queen watching that!’
