Just weeks after announcing her separation from hubby David Arquette, Courteney Cox has opened up on their split, revealing they won’t be getting divorced any time soon.
COURTENEY AND DAVID: RELATIONSHIP IN PICS!
The pair confirmed they had been undergoing a period of 'trial separation' at the beginning of October, releasing a joint statement in response to speculation by several US magazines.
The couple insisted they 'remain best friends' and ‘still love each other deeply’, but 'want to ‘better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage.’
Following the split, David admitted an affair in a bizarre radio rant, and went on to mention his estranged wife at every available opportunity, while Courteney kept a low profile and maintained a dignified silence.
Now the star has finally spoken out on the split, fuelling rumours they may eventually reunite, by ruling out a divorce.

‘I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,’ she told TV Week.
‘This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage… Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.’
When asked about David’s interview with US radio host Howard Stern, she said ‘[David] is a kook. It’s not shocking and Howard Stern, he loves him and I’m a fan of Howard Stern.’
Courteney also compared her situation to that of Friends BFF Jennifer Aniston, who has reportedly been helping her through the split.
‘It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer, who has gone through it… but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure,' she said.
