After filing for divorce just yesterday, reports suggest Cheryl Cole could be thinking of a move stateside after being offered a place on the US X Factor by Simon Cowell.

Simon's made no secret of wanting to poach Cheryl for the US show, claiming she would be perfect for the American market.
And now it seems he's close to getting his way.
‘She is very close to signing a deal worth millions with Simon,' an insider told the Evening Standard yesterday.
‘Ashley has been the major factor holding her back, but now she will be free to pursue her career in America, where Simon is convinced she could be a huge star.
‘He has been trying very hard to get her to sign up for the new show, and will now feel he has a very good chance of getting her to commit.'
Following her split from Ashley in February, Cheryl was spotted looking at properties in Los Angeles. So could it be that she already has a new home in mind?
