The couple first got together after filming the movie Evening together back in 2007 and now a rep for Danes has confirmed the couple’s happy news.
The announcement is a timely one for Dancy who appears in new chick flick Confessions of a Shopaholic.
On the red carpet for the New York premiere of the movie, Dancy told Us Weekly exactly what he’s after in his perfect woman. ‘Someone who’s intelligent, somebody who makes me laugh. I know people always say a good sense of humour, but they’re usually lying. Somebody who kind of has an independent life and ambition.’
When quizzed about whether Dancy would ever consider working with his betrothed again, he responded: ‘Never say never. There’s no list of people I wouldn’t work with, up to and including Claire. Obviously, I respect her as an actress immensely!’
