Cindy Crawford Recreates Iconic Pepsi Commercial But This Time With Help From Her Son Presley
Cindy Crawford is recreating that iconic 1992 Pepsi commercial for this year's Super Bowl.
The new version will debut on February 4 and this time it co-stars her 18-year-old son Presley Gerber. Teasing a photo ahead of its release, Crawford is seen sipping Pepsi at a gas station, just like in the original version, but this time around she sports a denim shirt not that iconic white tank top.
The “This Is The Pepsi” Super Bowl LII spot, which is part of the brand’s 2018 “Pepsi Generations” campaign celebrates all of its pop culture highlights through the decades from Michael Jackson's 1984 dance based commercial to Britney Spears's 2001 racy video.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Crawford revealed that her own 1992 adverts is one of her career personal highlights. “This time of year it always gets featured in the roundups of the Best Super Bowl Commercials ever, and every January I revisit my original Pepsi spot that I just love because the music was perfect and the little boys were perfect and it was just one of those commercials that everyone loved and it made people happy.”
Although we have yet to see what her son Presley's role involves in the ad, Crawford explained how special it is that he is involved. “To include now my next generation, Presley, just makes it that much more familial feeling,” she told PEOPLE. “I hope it gives people that warm, fuzzy feeling."
She also loved working with him saying: "We drove to work together, we shared a trailer, and just as a mom watching him perform, I was the proud stage mom standing by the monitor.”
