Girls is down a man. Christopher Abbott, who plays Marnie's boyfriend Charlie in the hit TV show, has quit after apparently butting heads with Lena Dunham.
The oh-so-handsome actor has had enough of his star-making role as long-suffering Charlie Dattolo and has abruptly quit the hit show after clashing with creator Lena Dunham, according to reports.
'They’ve just started work on Season 3, and Chris is at odds with Lena,' a source told New York Post's Page Six.
'He didn’t like the direction things are going in, which seems a bit odd since the show put him on the map.'
