Things might be looking up for Christine Bleakley. The Controversial star was crowned Ultimate TV presenter at a swanky awards show last night, despite her lack of success on ITV show Daybreak.
The brand new morning show has failed to set the world alight since its launch back in August, with audiences switching off the revamped breakfast show in their thousands.
Just last week viewing figures hit an all time low, reaching just 580,000 on Tuesday, prompting bosses to arrange a series of emergency talks in an effort to save the show.
But rumours Miss B was facing the axe for her unpopularity were blasted by ITV, who branded their new hosts a ‘first class presenting team’.
And now it seems others think so too.
During the star-studded event, thrown by a glossy magazine, Christine revealed the Daybreak team haven't admitted defeat just yet, and are just experiencing a few ‘teething problems’.

‘It's unfortunate other people don't quite believe in us yet,’ she told reporters at the swanky ceremony.
‘It's a tough sort of job and we always knew it was going to be and that's not a shock to us at all.
‘Any wee show has its teething problems and that's kind of how we see it.’
