Christina Aguilera has cancelled much-anticipated summer comeback tour amid reports of poor ticket sales.

An official statement revealed the cancellation of the American tour was due to a clash with Christina's other commitments.
'Christina Aguilera's summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments that the singer had made to her film, Burlesque, and to the promotion of her new album, Bionic,' Christina's promoters said in the only statement to be issued.
'The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour dates this wasn't possible.'
But the rumour mill has gone into overdrive today, with some reports suggesting her tour cancellation was down to poor ticket sales.

Christina's latest single, Not Myself Tonight only managed a disappointing number 23 in the US charts last month, and her comeback has been blighted by accusations she has been stealing Lady Gaga's style.
The cancellation will also come as a blow to British beauty Leona Lewis, who was signed up as a support act for Christina's shows.
