Chris Pratt is currently filming the Jurassic World sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and we could not be more excited. The hilarious actor seems like he’s having a blast filming the new flick, and we’re a bit jealous. But he recently shared a photo on Instagram that might shed some light on the more unglamorous sides of shooting a movie — other than the long hours and seemingly never-ending press junkets.
Chris Pratt is currently sporting a very sad spray tan, and we feel for him.
He posted this on Instagram:
Chris, WE HAVE BEEN THERE. This intensely horrible spray tan seems purposeful, but nonetheless. Also, does Chris wear pants in the entire movie? We guess so?
Beauty blunders aside, it seems like things are moving right along with the production of this film. Pratt posted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago, “In one year, life finds a way. #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom We are 80 days into filming!! I can’t tell you much except…This movie is gonna be freakin’ awesome! Who’s excited? @jurassicworld ?????♥️?”
We are, duh.
While we don’t know too much, we do have some intel on the second Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow, the screenwriter behind both movies, revealed that the next Jurassic World will be a bit different in tone than the first.
Trevorrow told MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast:
'It’s just deeper, more character-based, and it definitely leans into suspense, especially in the second half…it does have the big action in the middle. There’s a sequence in the middle that I’ve been watching — I mean, I watch dailies every day — but I’ve started to see stuff come together, and it’s just insane. I apologise to those who thought they were never gonna need to see another Jurassic World movie, because I think J.A. Bayona is gonna prove [them] wrong.'
Oh, and we’ll get to see more of this guy. Yassss.
