Chris Martin And Gwyneth Paltrow Are So Friendly, They've Even Created A Song Together

You may think sending your ex a 'Happy Birthday' text is a friendly move - but Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have once again reminded us that no matter how civil we try to be to our exes, we'll never be as pally as they are.
Chris has now given his ex-wife a spot on Coldplay's new album, with Gwyneth singing vocals on a new song, Everglow, which is a 'ballad about a relationship's enduring spark' - obviously.
And the whole album is a family effort, with kids Moses and Apple also getting to sing as part of a choir on some other songs - and his girlfriend Annabelle Wallis also getting a mini-cameo.
'Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives,' Chris told The Wall Street Journal. 'I don’t want to get too hippie, but what I’m trying to learn in my life is the value of every human.'
Sounds a bit hippie to us, but we're obvs going to buy the album anyway.
If you're dubious about Gwyn's singing talents, let's not forget this incredible Glee scene, where she truly showed off those vocal chords...

Perhaps the most surprising cameo on the album is that of seasoned album guest Blue Ivy Carter - yup, Bey and Jay's little girl.
'The “choir” started with my two kids coming in after school and recording,' Chris explained. 'We recorded Blue Ivy Carter in New York when her mom Beyoncé was in the studio. It comes from learning about Greek tragedy, where the chorus chimes in at times.'
Chris also got asked whether the phrase 'consciously uncouple' - which the couple will now always be remembered for - would make a good song lyric.
'I didn’t invent that phrase, but I love it,' he replied. 'Everything’s a good lyric if you have the right beat.'
