But what an amazing role it will be, with the news that Chris and his wife, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, are expecting TWINS.
Pregnant Elsa revealed the exciting news to Spain's HOLA! magazine, confirming that she was expecting a set of mini-gorgeous people in the spring.
Chris Hemsworth has previously spoken about fatherhood, doting on his first tot, India Rose. 'Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one that I could ever ask for,' the Thor star gushed.
'Being home, being with the family, that's what it's about... It makes me much more relaxed with work, because I have something that is far more important to me now.'
He also told E! News that being a dad 'puts things into perspective.'
What a guy. And what a couple. Congratulations to Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky. We can't wait to see just how ridiculously good looking the twins grow up to be.
