Cheryl Cole debuted a brand new 'do as she stepped out for date night with Derek Hough in LA over the weekend. Gone was her shoulder-length choppy crop, and its place? Gorgeous tumbling tresses.

We’d grown to love the naturally shorter, wavy style the star has been sporting all summer, as she went on tour around Europe with the Black Eyed Peas.
After her battle with malaria, it seems Cheryl's feeling better and decided it was time for a change, opting for glossy, tumbling extensions for her night out on the town.
But it wasn’t just a case of out with the old and in with the new. We've definitely seen that dress before! Cheryl last wore her £445 Thread Social mini on a night out with her almost-ex hubby Ashley, last December.
But clearly Mrs C doesn’t mind recycling her clothes, and looked radiant and glowing with health as she and Derek popped in to celeb eatery Wolfgang Puck for some food.
Cheryl's reportedly been busy plotting her comeback during her break in LA, and is rumoured to have organised a £100,000 style overhaul for her return to the X Factor. So could the long locks be part of her lovely new look?
