Girls Aloud looked ultra-glam at the 100th Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall

Cheryl Cole took centre stage as Girls Aloud performed for Queen Elizabeth at the 100th Royal Variety Performance last night.

The Queen looked lovely for her 36th Royal Variety Performance, wearing a silver lace dress embellished with crystal diamante, designed by Angela Kelly.

Her Majesty was joined by the Duke of Edinburgh at the Royal Albert Hall, where they were entertained by the likes of One Direction (swoon), Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, tenor Placido Domingo and a newly reunited Girls Aloud.

GIRLS ALOUD CELEBRATE COMEBACK WITH NIGHT OUT

Cheryl Cole seemed to take the lead on the night - throughout the Girls Aloud performance and during the meet and greet with the Queen backstage.

The evening's host, David Walliams, who recently announced wife Lara Stone is pregnant with their first child, hovered onto the stage for the James Bond-themed night with a jetpack.

What a hoot.

The show will be aired on ITV1, 3 December at 19:30.
