Cheryl Cole's IQ has been called into question by Simon Cowell's biographer Tom Bower

The lovely Cheryl Cole is getting more grief from Simon Cowell's camp after the man behind his explosive biography has deemed her 'not very intelligent.'

Cheryl Cole has had her IQ called into question by Tom Bower, the man behind Simon's scandalous biography, Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell, who spent time with the singer on the set of the American X Factor- before she was axed.

‘I was sitting next to Simon the whole time during The X Factor US last year and I immediately knew that Cheryl Cole wasn’t working,’ said Bower.

‘I flew with him from LA to New York and even before that he’d asked me what I thought about her and I’d said: “She’s not working and Steve Jones is even worse”.

‘He was determined to make it work, but I had my doubts.

‘I’d sit with Cheryl at mealtimes and, in my opinion, her real problem is she’s not very intelligent.’

Oh dear.
