Cole is 'completely clumsy and dippy' around Cruz, according to reports

Sparks flew between Cheryl Cole and musician Taio Cruz when they spent time together recording her upcoming studio album, according to reports.

The pair are said to be 'smitten' with each other and are ready to give a relationship a go, Cheryl's now ex-husband Ashley Cole is well and truly out of the picture, according to Heat.

A friend of the singer reportedly told the magazine: 'Cheryl is ready to move onwards and upwards in her love life,' adding that Cheryl told her: 'Taio is beautiful, caring and so amazing. He gives me confidence I thought I'd lost.

'I'm completely clumsy and dippy around him.'

The pal explained: 'Taio has told Cheryl how he feels. He wants to take the next step. There's a lot of sexual tension flying about - it makes going to work really great.'

It's thought two have been getting close while working on Cheryl's third album in New York, with Cruz even posted a pic of 'the gorgeous Miss Cheryl Cole' on his twitter page.
