Cheryl Cole Finally Does Bridal For Her Debut Fragrance Launch

It has been a big month for Cheryl Cole. Sorry, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. First there was the secret marriage to short-term boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, then there's the small matter of returning to the X Factor, promoting her comeback single and album and, now, the launch of her debut fragrance, StormFlower.
We were at the launch of Cheryl's first foray into fragrance held at Avenue, St James's Street in London last night. With an entrance befitting a very famous person (she was flanked by bodyguards, then followed by her new husband), Mrs Fernandez-Versini arrived wearing a bride-friendly nude gown and was quickly whisked into a backroom.
She then finally emerged again quite some time later for a quick interview with her pop chum Marvin Humes (he's from now-defunct boyband JLS, FYI) to talk about the perfume and nothing else - when he asked if she was enjoying married life with her new husband, 'JB', Cheryl simply replied: 'I am, thank you.'
Speaking about the project in hand, StormFlower, which was inspired by the scent of 'flowers just after there's been a storm', by the way, Cheryl said: 'It's like every little girl's dream. When I was a kid, I used to create perfumes with my sister so I've been obsessed even from a young age.
'I always liked to smell fresh, clean and floral. This fragrance makes you feel feminine and elegant. I've been working on this from scratch - everything from the scent to the bottle design. I didn't want to just put my name to a fragrance.'
Cheryl also let us have a first watch of the ad, which was shot by Rankin, and features Cheryl doing some interpretive dancing.
