Charlotte Church has given birth to a baby boy, a brother for her 16-month-old daughter, Ruby.
The 22-year-old singer chose to have her second child at home, with boyfriend Gavin Henson and two midwives by her side at a birthing pool, set up in the couple’s farmhouse pad in Wales.
At ten days overdue, Church finally went into labour just after midnight on Saturday night.
A spokesman for the pair said yesterday: ‘He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin's home with Gavin in attendance at the birth.
'They haven't yet announced a name for their son, but we can confirm that he weighed in at 7lb 5oz and that mum and baby are both doing just fine.’
A close friend of the couple revealed: ‘They are joking that it will be someone for Gavin to play rugby with.
