Sacked star Charlie Sheen could be set to make a comeback on hit US show Two and a Half Men, according to reports, after entering talks with CBS producers, keen to re-employ him.

Earlier this month, Sheen was sacked from the hit series, with the show being put on hold for the rest of the season, after the star worried bosses with his increasingly erratic behaviour.
A spokesman revealed the network had dismissed the sorry star – once America’s highest-paid TV actor – after ‘careful consideration,’ adding his recent antics ‘undermined the production in numerous and significant ways.'
The contract of termination, issued by Warner Brothers said drugs and alcohol were making Sheen ‘abusive,’ and ‘endangering his life’ as well as causing him to forget his lines.
Since his sacking, the outlandish star hasn’t been short of a few employment offers.

First there was a T-shirt line, then a cookery show, and more recently, a sold-out 12-date live tour, Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option.
And earlier this week reports surfaced the star was in discussions with network Fox about launching a new show.
Now it seems producers on the Two and a Half Men hit want him back, and have coaxed the star into discussions about reprising his role on the series.
‘Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back,’ NBC reporter Jeff Rossen Tweeted yesterday. ‘Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal,’
‘The rumors are true - CBS wants Charlie back,’ another insider added.
‘They saw how popular his tour has become, how it has been selling out, and when word spread that he started talking to Fox about a late-night show, some decision-makers got a little antsy.
‘There's an 80% chance that Sheen returns.’
