Yep, despite their million-pound fortunes, this lot forgo the makeup artist in favour of doing it themselves. Here are six celebrities who do their own make-up
You wouldn't guess it, but there's a secret under-belly of celebs who rouge their own cheeks, paint their own feline flicks and pencil-in their own brows. Yep, despite having a glam-squad the size of a local football team on call 24/7, these A-listers prefer to do their own faces (at least some of the time, anyway).
Disney star Zendaya revealed on Instagram that she did her own make-up for the 2016 Grammys (and looked incredibly fabulous) so we did some digging and discovered 6 other very famous women who've divulged their DIY make-up techniques...
1. Kate Middleton Kate's just like us in that she isn't exempt from suffering the odd beauty faux pas; the Duchess of Cambridge famously painted her own gorgeous face for her wedding to Prince William in 2011, and although she apparently enlisted the help of some professionals in the run-up to her big day, she got a lot of stick for her somewhat heavy-handed technique. (Vivienne Westwood famously said that Kate had a 'problem' doing her eye-makeup). Ouch.
2. Gwen Stefani Gwen learned her make-up artistry working on a cosmetics counter as a teenager, and now the legendary pop-rock singer is amoung the few celebrities who do their own make-up, apparently because she doesn't trust anyone else. To keep her make-up on throughout her performances, Gwen favours a 'sweatproofing' technique which involves heavily layering make-up on her face and using double sets of lashes, and her matte skin and smokey-eye has obviously garnered her legions of fans in the beauty world too - she's now got her own range of make-up with cosmetics giant Urban Decay.
3. Kate Winslet Winslet's an Oscar-winning actress, mum-of-three and master of her own make-up too, it seems. Speaking to InStyle in 2011, Kate said: 'I like to do my own make-up. I believe in less is more.' And judging from her pristine appearance on and off the red carpet, she does a pretty good job of it, too. Kate's also fronted campaigns for L'Oréal and apparently stipulates that her modelling shots don't get retouched. We love this...
4. Olivia Palermo One of our all-time beauty icons, Olivia dished all her beauty secrets to us in 2015. She said: 'I apply my own make-up and I always use the same colour tones. I don’t really stray much in the evening. I may just use heavier eye make-up and add a few lashes. I always stick to nude lips. I usually wear Christian Dior. A fresh, clean, natural look is the most beautiful'. We'd definitely trust Olivia's advice when it comes to make-up; she's launched her own line of luxurious products (including nail varnish, lipstick and blush) for Ciaté London, and she also works for the brand as Guest Creative Director.

5. Diane Kruger The German model and actress obviously isn't short of a few bob, but still prefers to make herself up for big nights out in order to use up her everlasting supply of beauty products. She said: 'I tend to do my own makeup for red carpet events and I have an obscene amount of makeup. My girlfriends are like, really? I have so much stuff.' Out of all the celebrities who do their own make-up, we reckon Diane has to be the most resourceful - we love her honesty (and we'd also love to raid her make-up bag, too).
6. Blake Lively Our girl crush since like, forever, Blake famously shuns professional advice when it comes to styling her hair and clothes - and doing her make-up. The actress and said she prefers to do her own make-up because she finds it 'fun'. And hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it, right? Blake revealed that her ultimate beauty icons include her Diane Keaton and her Mum and sister. Ahhh.
